Description
Responsibilities:- Manage the archive migration project by reviewing, cataloguing, and properly processing/archiving all assets in current vault
- Manage the ingest and metadata entry of new assets, ensuring they are placed into the appropriate vault location based on type & potential uses.
- Update metadata for all assets as needed to ensure an accurate & complete asset repository.
- Work in tandem with UMG Archives & local CCMG team to ensure best practices / processes are being followed
- Capture reference photographs of master assets (analog tapes boxes, digital tape boxes, etc.) for preview / research purposes.
- Identify assets that need digitization and work in tandem with CCMG and UMG Archives team to complete
- Keep track of loaned physical items from vault and ensure they are returned complete and in a timely fashion.
- Perform asset research at the request of CCMG label teams.
- Manage shipping of assets to clients / studios
- Perform general maintenance for physical assets like storage container repair/replacement, installing tape flanges, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Process improvement; basic understanding of entertainment media assets; Understanding of the major label music business; Ability to effectively communicate with senior management; ability to deal with ambiguity and to work independently
- The ability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- 1-2 years working with digital and physical media (audio, video & graphics)
- 1-2 years entertainment media production/asset management experience
- Relevant College degree or equivalent job-related experience
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $13.OO/hour-$17.OO/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
